Alice&Bob raises $3.3 million

The french startup Alice&Bob has raised $3.3 million to create the first fault-tolerant quantum computer. The round has been led by Elaia Partners and Breega.

The company is using research that has been developed across a consortium of French universities and research institutes, Ecole Normale Supérieure.

The startup has been created in February to commercialize research being done across France to target the issue of “quantum errors.” Their prototype has reduced the number of errors by a factor of 300 using a process that automates the corrections.
