Johannes Zeiher launches new and independent research group “Quantum Matter Interfaces”

For over a year now, Johannes Zeiher and his research group have been building a new experiment at MPQ dealing with the investigation of quantum matter for its application in digital quantum computer. Recently he was able to acquire 3.3 million euros from the BMBF (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) with his project SNACQ (Scalable Neutral Atom Quantum Computing).
