Norway: New Quantum Computing Centre

Norway: New Quantum Computing Centre Norway Flag

SINTEF, NTNU and the University of Oslo want to make Norway “Quantum-Ready”, and have taken the matter into their own hands by together establishing the Norwegian Quantum Computing Centre.

This center gathers a strong interdisciplinary, cross-institutional team of researchers from UiO, NTNU and SINTEF in order to promote quantum technology, establish contact with internationally leading expert groups, as well as to work together with industrial partners. Highlighting potential use cases and joining forces to build the necessary expertise will be vital.

The team is an interdisciplinary research group with members from the Department of Mathematics and Cybernetics at SINTEF Digital, the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at UiO, and the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Mathematics at NTNU.
