QunaSys raises $2.5M in Series A

QunaSys announces the close of a $2.5 million Series A investment from three experienced VCs based in Japan: Global Brain Corporation, Shinsei Corporate Investment and ANRI. The funds will be used to speed-up the R&D towards practical application of quantum computer.

QunaSys works on algorithm and application development for quantum computers. The startup currently targets quantum chemical simulation and machine learning in partnership with Osaka university and Japan’s top chemical companies. The team has membership with major vendor programs as IBM Q Network, Microsoft Quantum Network Startups and Rigetti Computing QCS Developer Partners. (QunaSys)
