CaixaBank carries out its first quantum computing project

CaixaBank has completed several real tests with a quantum computer to study financial applications to assess the capital at risk of financial assets, such as mortgage portfolios and treasury bonds.

The Spanish bank used the IBM Qiskit Framework, an infrastructure that includes a simulator and a 16-qubit quantum computer.

In terms of time, it means reducing a complex work of several days to a process of few minutes. (Caixabank)
