Horizon Quantum raises $3.2 Million

Horizon Quantum, a startup located in Singapore, has just announced that they have increased their seed financing to SGD 4.5 million (USD 3.23 million) thanks to a seed-plus round led by Sequoia Capital India with participation from previous investors SGInnovate, Abies Ventures, DCVC, Qubit Protocol, Summer Capital and Posa CV.

The company was founded in 2018 by Dr Joe Fitzsimons, a pioneer in the space of quantum computing applications.

Horizon Quantum focuses on tools for building software for quantum computers. The company is developing a complete compiler stack that will span the entire chain from algorithms construction down to physical level implementation.
